Sustainability
People & Community
The people that make our business what it is, are all around the world as well as in our Harrogate office and factory.
We work hard to build relationships with our suppliers, industry peers and our employees.
Our work at home focuses on local charity support and each year we choose a different charity to work with finding different ways to raise funds to support their goals.
We have over 1500 employees in North Yorkshire, and that spans 7 different sites, from our office to our Factory and Warehouse. Whilst we can’t fit them all on one page, why not take the time to get to know some of the people who work in our Supply team to discover how they make an impact in the sustainability of our business and our industry.
In this section you also find out about the work we’re doing overseas to create a better supply chain in tea and coffee — something we can’t do alone if we want to make a change, so we collaborate with key industry bodies such as Ethical Tea Partnership, IDH and Action Aid. Read about our work in Living Wage to tackling systemic gender issues that need the support of businesses like Taylors.
Gender empowerment
Securing the future of our industries means being committed to the empowerment of women within our supply chains.
Water projects at Taylors
We’re collaborating with our suppliers to fund water projects that will support and improve the livelihoods of people in tea and coffee growing communities.
Living Wage & Living Income
We know the importance of providing a living wage. That’s why we’re working with IDH, The Sustainable Trade Initiative, to identify the living wage gap in our supply chain and work together to close it.
Snaizeholme with the Woodland Trust
Our relationship with the Woodland Trust spans almost three decades and out commitment to planting trees will continue well into the future. We’ve recently partnered with The Woodland Trust again, this time on a special project close to home.
